So it is definitely between Edinburgh or Birmingham for MBA.

I think Birmingham is harder to be accepted to classmates should be higher quality candidates which is a big part of an MBA

I heard that UK visa authorities will stamp the name of your university in your passport and that means you can only go to the same university as you stated in your visa application - no change is possible

Is this true?

Its true but the difference is very small - both courses are pretty difficult to be accepted

Here are the requirements:

Economics: A-Levels A, A, A (including Maths)
Accounting & Finance: A-Levels A, A, B (Maths only needs to be studied to GCSE or middle school level)

So as you can see A&F is slightly easier but only just.

But I think it is true that Economics is a more interesting subject
